Well worth it in my opinion.

Since the ilx isn't lighting up the sales charts, would it be unrealistic to think one can buy a 2.4 for 26k? I think it's a nice little package but overpriced...
I picked up my Polished Metal 2.4 6-speed today. I did the 36-month lease with 12K miles for $1,168 down and $329 a month including 8% tax. Car price was $27,530 before fees. Replaced 2004 TSX 6-speed with 120K miles. This is my 6th Acura.

Thanks for the pricing info, I guess I'll try for $27.5 when I'm ready to buy, haven't test driven one, waiting for more info on MY14.

Thanks. I really like the way it drives. More tire/road noise than I would like, but not unbearable.

BTW, my price included trunk mat, wheel locks, and mud flaps, so $27K is probably doable if you don't want/need these items. I told my salesman they could keep the wheel locks, but he said they were already on the car. I don't see the mud flaps as an option on the Acura site. They are paint color and pretty low profile. I never liked the looks of the generic black ones. Should be included from the factory.

I also let them talk me into the 7-year paint and interior protection package. I paid $250, not the $750 they were asking. Added about $7 to my monthly payment. Typical closing tactic. They tell me how wonderful it is and say the price is $749. I say no thanks. They ask me what I would pay for it. I say $149. They laugh and say how about $349. I say $199. They say $299. I say $249. They say how about $250. I say yes. My target price was $200.

Hit them at $26.5K and see where you end up.

Sounds like you got a great deal! What state are you in if you don't mind me asking? If I knew 26.5k was on the table I would buy, truecar.com prices it around 28k being the average the last time I checked in MA. To me 28k is too high for the ilx, no offense to any owners, the msrp should have been 28xxx and sell for 26xxx, just my opinion. Enjoy your new car!

Louisiana. Dealer is Acura of Baton Rouge. Salesman is John O'Neil. Highly recommended. This is the 5th Acura I have bought from him over the last 10 years.

You gotta like the the Acura sales people stick around for a while. Unlike other dealers where salesman jump ship and go elsewhere all the time.

Not to get too personal; but what have people with "less than perfect credit" been getting as lease deals? My 04 TL was recently totaled (another post to come on that) and I just test drove the ILX and fell in love.

I'm thinking of leasing but don't have much experience with that. I'm wondering if anyone out there in a similar credit situation have fared with reasonable lease rates?

Leasing has come a long way. Dont let people who financed talk you out of it.

Go for a lease to buy and youll be in good shape.

I just received an email from my Acura dealer with a deal for the 5AT ILX base, for $275 a month including taxes, and with $302 down. Of course, the email doesn't list the money factor or purchase price, but on the face of it that doesn't seem a bad deal. I'm half tempted to go in and lease one through my business. My dealer has almost 20 of these in stock.

I leased mine for $259 per month tech package with mats trunk mat and wheel locks $1499 down. $19k lease end it I want to own. 3 year 30k lease. If you add it all together all payment come in almost $2k less then MSRP. Hope that helps you when you nego. With the dealer.

picked up a 2.0 ILX tech for $440 down, and $340/month, 10k lease.

I had a TSX previous to this, and I do kinda miss it.

Big-time downgrade.

I wish I had the TSX instead of the ILX. The suspension problems have been SUCH a turnoff.

Good Luck

That's almost exactly what I got, albeit slightly more down and slightly less per month. Unfortunately I couldn't get Polished Metal, though; that and the blue were the only colors the dealer couldn't get at that time. I settled for Crimson Garnet, which is nice and which everyone who sees it seems to like, but still wish I could have gotten the gray.

The residual is, I think, a bit north of $17K. I replaced an 11½-year-old Saturn SC2 coupe with 103K miles on it; this time leasing made more sense for me.

I got my ILX tech. White pearl with all the mats and trunk mat about 14 months ago for $2000 down and $259 per month 36 months 10k a year $19k end of lease buy out. Looks like if we go to the end of lease I beat you by about $1300 but if we bail at the lease mid point you beat me by a couple of hundred. Either way at these lease rates the ILX is hard to beat!! Mine has now grown on me and even though the road noise is pretty high it's a great car to drive. Enjoy!!

Quick question, are those 2000 down total out of pocket, i.e including ttl?, I just leased a base one, put 2000 total out of pocket, and my lease is higher than yours (285 a month for 12K miles), but better than the current acura ilx offer of 0 down + ttl and 270/m 10K. This included the wheel locks that al of them have and that adds 450, also window tinting.

Trying to figure out of I got a good deal or a terrible one, depending if your price includes ttl or not.

I leased my base for 303/month for 36 months with 12k miles a year. the dealer delivered it to my job and I gave him a check for 500 for the first month plus tax and tag. I'm thinking I got a sweet deal.
