Hopefully the ILX will be more impressive than it seems on paper.

Very happy that there is now an ILX section. I emailed Ron A from Acurazine 9days ago about an ILX section and bam here it is. This ILX board will be a usefule tool to all future owners...keep up the good work ladies and gentleman.

This name is horrible.. The hell was Acura thinking.
I hear this thing is targeted towards the younger crowd, isn't that the same target group of the TSX?

I'm guessing the TSX may be dropped/combined with the TL. But I do like the TSX a lot and if Acura can differentiate the models enough they can pull it off like how BMW does (1,3,5,7 series). But I do do know the TSX won't be discontinued right away. I'm guessing 2013MY will be the last year.

Lexus: CT200h, HS250h, IS, ES, GS
BMW: 1, 3, 5 (not including Mini, which I would argue is more of an ILX competitor than a BMW 1)
MB: A-class, C-class, E-class
Audi: A3, A4, A5, A6 (contemplating importing the A1)
even Buick knows to sustain product here...
Verano, Regal, LaCrosse

It would be a lot easier to support more models if at least one had RWD, sort of the opposite of Lexus which has only one with FWD. Hint, hint....

LOL ES-series. I say move the RL up market more, RWD, V8/AWD, keep TL where it is with AWD (3.7 V6 standard), TSX gets the 3.5 and ILX gets the 2.4. 6spd optional all across the board. It was a quick thought.

I'd love me a v8.. but I think the best option for Honda right now is the put their K23T in more vehicles. Maybe a J37T I know it won't happen though.

Just found out K23T being removed from RDX and replaced with J35.
