Merry Christmas!

Cars.com has 113 used ILX's on it as of 12/25. There is a white ILX with 13k miles near my parents home listed for $28,977. Saw the lowest a tech package is going for is $25k for 4.7k miles in Texas.

Would it be crazy to offer $25k out the door for the white tech package ILX with 13k miles?

113 used ILX's! that's pretty high! Is that across the US or just in Texas? The 25k ILX might be selling for such a low price because of the a bad carfax report. I'd say you'd be lucky to get it for 28k

 

That number is across the US. The car in TX for sale at $25k was repossessed (as shown in the CarFax), but figured it would be a starting point for bargaining. Definitely easier to negotiate on a used car.

I'm more or less dreaming, the logistics of purchasing the vehicle while I'm in town for the holidays and having it moved south to where I live (Raleigh, NC) would be a bit daunting. I do want this car though, just don't need it right this moment.

You'll see used ILX's for a variety of reasons, the main one being ex dealer loaner vehicles that have been registered to a dealer, used as loaner cars, and then serviced and sold as Certified Pre-Owned.

We had 1 CPO ILX Premium thus far, actually a trade in from a customer that debated TSX vs. ILX, decided TSX then changed mind to ILX. A few thousand miles later, they changed mind again and traded it for a TL. As soon as we had the ILX listed online as CPO, inquiries started and it was sold in 2 days to out of state.

Acura CPO is always a great deal, if you don't mind a few miles.
