Teh Full-Race es here.

Full-Race has officially released their 3" downpipe and it looks smooooooooooooooth.
Starts @ 349.99 with options.
$449.99 for catted... sounds like this DP is here to break the competition.

I am thinking I would want it coated.. that should reduce heat in the engine bay from the DP right!? I am sooo excited.. I thought this DP was going to be MUCH more.

I'm going to stick with the Rv6 piece. Although, if that price is shipped, then I'd take that too.

If you don't want a 3" catback I wouldn't do a 3" DP. I'd say this is better bang for the buck tho as the 3" is going to give better gains once tuned. Again not a big enough difference to cry over but this pipe is cheaper.

Civic Si exhaust would work if you cut the tip and do a turn down like the factory exhaust OR if you cut open the bumper. It would be like $20 to have the tip turned down like stock.

interested in how hot the current stock set up gets and the differences between ceramic coated downpipes vs non-ceramic coated.

I am really interested in that too... everyone says alot of the heat in the engine bay is from the downpipe. I will email Full-Race and see if they have any data to support the $120 option.

Maybe on a S/C setup it can prolong the time before heatsoak sets in.
