So this is what inspired the 16 ILX headlights

^^ Acura designers need to stop doing their work when under the inflence! OMG these are horrendous, and while they are simply concept, why demonstrate to the world that you have NO talent?! These concepts should be there to inspire confidence, not instigate the bowal movement. *sheesh*

I'm of the opinion that the vehicle designs are getting back on track, but good lord they really need to get a new team to design their wheels across the entire Acura lineup. IMO they are moving in the completely wrong direction. They look too much like transformer/robotech/gunddam toys. It just gives a feeling of cheap and overtly flashy. NOT "luxury" in any way shape or form.
Seriously...they need to stop.
Just my opinioni

Obviously I already put these into storage. But super glad they arent as ugly as what the civic has seen and what the ILX now has.

^^ I love these wheels too, which are the one on our ILX.
Oh Sickest TL....I agree although the wheels on the V6 TLX are pretty decent. I am starting to appreciate them more and more as I see them. BTW...Th snow is melting pretty good here, how is down there in SJ?

A girl on IG had a shop paint her ILX wheels with black accenting very similar to the prototype ILX wheels.
Check it out.
Not something I would do but pretty neat. Looks better than all black plastidipped wheels IMO.

^^ I hear you 200% on the two tone wheels!! I hate hate hate hate that fad that started a while ago, not sure which constructor started it first, but that glossy black insert and polished finish blend just turns me right off! ...and the same about the plasti dip ... reminds me of the soft ice cream cones that we dipped in that melted chocolate.
I loved the wheels on my 2012 TL SH-AWD, a classic 5 spoke design that had a nice color to it. Not overly flashy, but still sexy as could be. That is another reason I love the IS 350 F sport....its wheels are gorgeous in my opinion as well, a twin 5 spoke design...

It's black and alloy grey. That'll be just as easy to keep clean as just black or just grey.
Try white. That's hard to clean. Or polished. Not black and grey.

That color scheme is similar/reminds me of the TSX special edition wheels.
My buddy has a black TSX special edition. They "look darker" because his car is black. Optical illusion.
Would maybe look better if the part that wasn't black was "machined" finish or maybe even polish. Doesn't look too bad. I think it would look really great with black roof and other blackout accents.

^^ *LMAO* I was expecting you'd poke fun at me....Of course I don't use a steel wool, I use that in the bathtub. Keep in mind that where we live, they put sand on the road in the winter so the roads are always dirty and the wheels get gritty. No matter how hard to try and keep the 2 bucket method as free of grit as possible, its just impossible to eliminate totally. On a glossy black finish, it would be that much more easier to see than a silver painted rim like those on my former TL or even the ILX for that matter.
