Any ideas if these could be modified to fit our cars? People are doing it to TLs and TSXs.

Forgive me, I know *nothing* about cars, just feel like they look cool.

 

Somehow I highly doubt our calipers are the same size, as these other vehicles are much larger.

 

They are cheap, buy some and find out. Report back!

 

It's gonna require some use of glue I'm sure. Unless, of course, the rdx calipers fit our car. May be worth reading up on calipers and understanding if the acura parts are swappable or not.

 

What wheels you planning on rolling with? This prob would be a moot point with the OEM wheels...

 

2013 ILX Specifications:
Front brake discs
11.1” ventilated : 2.0L & Hybrid
11.8” ventilated : 2.4L
10.3” ventilated : Hybrid

Rear brake discs
10.2" solid

2013 RDX Specifications:
Front brake discs
12.3" ventilated

Rear brake discs
12.0" solid

Judging on the size of the rotors, I wonder if we order the rear covers if they would fit... I may have to give it a whirl on friday.

 

What size wheels does the rdx have? wondering if you can swap calipers / rotors from the rdx to the ilx....the car could use some confidence inspiring brakes.

 

The RDX has 18 inch wheels.

 

I'd just stick with the OEMs.
