I've seen many people on here say that they purchased 16 ILX's, not too many photos being posted.....

I've been using my iPhone and my pics aren't coming too great, I didn't get any great shots of the car

I'd like to see some with an actual decent camera

 

I think the only modded 16 ilx is the one mike has put together. Probably the best pics youll ever see of the 2016 ilx. Possibly going to be the only modded 16 ilx for a while as well.

Interested in more pics if people have them!

 

2016 Acura ILX Review

this site has high definition pictures posted, pretty much the same ILX as mine

I can't get my pic to look nowhere near as good lol

 

 

After almost 2 months, everything ok. Really happy

 

You need better lighting and maybe a better phone.

 

Nice looking 16's.

 

While Chan_Mike beat us to a '16ILX by a few days, I've been doing similar work on my own Premium-Aspec.

Using it for eventual R&D for intake development.

 

 

 

I really like it in this color, what do you plan on doing to it?

 

ToDo List in no particular order:

Tint windows
LED fogs
LED reverse lights (picking up today)
LED license plate (on order)
sunshade (live in South Florida! its a must)
side color body molding...I hate dings!
Aero package (front and rear)
i was thinking about swapping rims for these

but the rims are growing on me, everyone compliments me and says they look amazing..

thats about it, will think about performance stuff when the newness wears off...

2016 ILX tech plus

 

I was just thinking those A-Spec body panels would look great in CF! Nice touch!

 

Thats actually how they come from the factory. Both the front and rear aero bits.


Its not actually CF, but a very deep impression in the plastic to give it the textured look.






They do warn you in the installation to no wax the textured finish as it'll pick up the wax and need to be cleaned off with a wax cleaner lol.

 

I'll keep my opinions to myself on the carbon fiber. Aside from saying it does look great!

Hi jspangan, did your car come with the fender wheelwell rubber protectors, i had those on my civic and it helped protect me more than once from dings...i wanted them for my ILX but didnt see it as an option, i wonder if you added those?
