For those of you with 2016-2017 A-Spec models, you can purchase the new A-Spec emblems that come on the 2018 models online for cheap. Picked up a whole set for $29 / per emblem.

Applied them yesterday and they look great. Nice subtle addition that adds just the right pop with some added detail.








I found my set on Ebay and they are original OEM. You should be able to also source them from any Honda/Acura parts supplier.

Note: These do not come with any placement guides. I went online to Acura.com and went through the ILX build tool, selected the A-Spec model and then used the 360-degree 3D model pictures to see where the emblems are placed. I used those as guides to get it as close to OEM placement as possible. I think I got it pretty spot on.

 

Looks good! Part of me wants it, but the other part likes the anonymous look. Like how on some German makes, you can ask them to delete the badges from the factory.
