New ILX 2.4 owner

Hi guys, I recently picked up my ILX 2.4 with aero kit package.
The dealer got me a decent deal with tints plus roof and grill wrap.
Even though I am not a fan of it, I will enjoy it for now and get rid of the wrap next time.

that looks amazing. I wish my dealer sold the wrap as part of the cost of the car. honestly, I wish I haggled more. Next Acura I get is going to get the dealer installed body kit from the factory.

P.s. I like the 8th gen si in the background...which also has the factory body kit, lol. I used to own one in the same color.

To be honest I should never have sold my ZDX.

The ILX is a great little car and I miss some things over the TSX Aspec. The rear view camera, keyless entry and push button start, the exhaust sound, it was definitley faster than the TSX, had minimal rev hang compared to the TSX and is a nicer more up to date body style.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the love
I definitely have plans like suspension work but I will leave the engine stock.
But for now, the car will stay stock and enjoy a great ride.

Thanks, It is really a deal breaker.
and the 8thgen on the background is my old car with a supercharger stage 2 in it, I love it but thinking of selling it soon.

White pearl is really hot under the sun.
I've seen one that has paint to match grill and glossy black roof.

I know, but I gotta put work to make my car look pretty. speaking of putting work, anyone ever think to make the 2.4 a tech version by ordering the appropriate parts?

I did ask my dealer if they can install the nav from the tech package and they said they don't do such things lol.

They do, but that white one looks.... better at least in that picture.

If they were to ever release the endurance racer's grille I'd be game for that one. But I am glad you reminded me.. my experiences with seeing the Acura TSXs with painted grilles did bother me, doubt I'd like these from a front angle. Anyone see that white one from the front?

It's over 5 grand in parts. Not worth it.

Here is just one source of vinyl's for interior and exterior

http://www.metrorestyling.com/3M-DI-...nyl-s/4083.htm

Most places will sell you a small sample for a reasonable cost.

So the top is essentially 3M tape? Is the grill the same thing or is it dipped in plastic?
