MPG question

This might be a strange question but I’m curious. I have a 2016 ILX (30k~ mikes) and I’ve recently experienced a noticeable drop in MPG. I used to be able to get 300 miles to a tank, now I’m getting around 250. I’ll be replacing the air filter but are these cars that sensitive to a dirty air filter to affect MPG this much? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Nothing is leaking, no smoke, there’s no smell of fuel, oil changes every 5k miles.

What is the MPG reported by the trip computer? I would also do your own MPG calculation next time you fill up at the pump. Because "250 miles to a tank" is very vague. What's a tank? I have about 20k miles on my 2016 and haven't noticed any MPG drop. I'm consistently getting about 28-30 MPG.

Things to check

Definitely check tire pressure. One other thing I’ve heard is that when the temperature gets cold, MPG drops a little bit. Just my 2 cents. Also, highly recommend getting a K&N air filter. They actually make a bit of a difference in positive efficiency.
