Maintenance questions - timing/water pump/tensioners

I have a 2013 ILX, I think it's a timing chain instead of time belt, does it mean the chain doesn't need to be changed? how about water pumps and tensioners (which I usually change along with timing bet at around 75-90K)

User manual maintenance guide is pretty useless, it doesn't say anything about spark plug, plug wires, all these stuffs

Timing chain doesn't need to be replaced unless the engine's been run low on oil in the past and the chain stretched. They're pretty good as far as being "maintenance free". We only do water pumps on chain engines if they're noisy. It's your call if you wanna do preventative maintenance lol.

Please provide some more details about your ILX. Do you have the 2.0 or the 2.4. Also how many miles currently on your car?
