I removed the whole bracket, how likely am I going to get in trouble with the poe-lis ?

 

Depends where you live. I assume you live in a state that requires a front plate. I removed mine and put in those bumper plugs. I'm in the SF bay area and have never had an issue with police. All my cars have no front plate. However you are taking a slight chance no matter what.

Same thing with tints. I have all my cars tinted at 30%. Not very dark, but dark enough to not clearly see inside. Never once had an issue. My theory is that if your car isn't clapped out and you don't "look" like a gangster/criminal, you'll be fine.
