i just purchased a 2015 ilx and was wondering what you guys are using to convert the factory halogen fog lights to LEDs. i did a forum search, although i wasn't able . to find anything. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance!

Hey, ive seen a post where someone took the fog light from a newer ILX which are LED and swapped them over. Should be able to find it here.

 

Given the bumper on the 2019 ILX (MMC2) is totally different, I'd be surprised if those LED foglights actually fit in an older ILX. I know for the 2016 ILX (MMC) they had an LED foglight accessory but it was quite expensive.

 

1. find bulb number of fog light
2. go on and type in bulb number plus LED.
2a. go to www.theretrofitsource.com for good quality bulbs.
3. Click on proper bulb type and click "add to cart"
4. Type in credit card information and shipping address
5. Receive bulbs in 7-10 business days (if not sooner)
6. install

all 13-15 and 16-18 ILX's use the same type of semi universial 90mm fog housings.

IF your vehicle is already wired for fog lights w/ the switch on the steering column, then your already ready for an LED upgrade.

Best options Include:
H11 Diode Dynamic SLF LEDs,
H11 Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 LEDs

or Morimoto 90mm LED replacement Housings.
