i wonder if this can be retrofitted into our ILX doors?

Ewwww. I always hated these projected logos. So damn tacky and ricey IMO. Clearly though thats my opinion so you do you.

The other day I was walking by a car that had this while the drive sat with his legs out the open door while on his phone. It was day light and I was suprised how bright the logo still was on the ground. I however thought it was tacky as hell and wondered why someone would WANT that. To each their own though.

It is definitely do able. Id want some normal lights under there. That would be sick.

 

i just added something simpler to my footrest , it belongs on the door but i rather it on my footrest

I have done the same to my caddy so just a repeat.



Makes a big difference already got 1 compliment on it. And i didnt even do the other side yet.

 

Pretty cool. I think on the door its hit or miss, personal preference. I wouldn't mind having just the regular lights there. Very Convenient.

 

I would use this in the rain as a puddle light or to remind myself that I'm driving a Acura.
