Hi,
whats the difference between this tool and the one we had our names for it ?

 

This one is carplay, only carplay apps can be used and displayed

the other one is phone mirroring, you can see your entire smartphone on vehicles screen

 

How does this work? Will it lose any of the factory components when you install?

We are pausing Carplay pre-orders atleast until July 2016

We help Focus groups where we learned limited amount of apps for CarPlay and Price of the product can't coexist at this time. The biggest negative is that only native apple maps are available as navigation. Most participants chose full screen mirroring over carplay
