Just a quick note about my son's experience with his (old and new) ILX. He leased a '17 ILX almost 3 years ago and used it quite a bit over the 3 years (about 42k miles). Overall it was extremely reliable, used no oil, and held up well. It was a white with parchment interior, premium package. He looked at various options - buy a CPO, get a lease with something bigger, etc - but ended up leasing a '19 ILX Premium. He went the other direction color-wise (Black outside, black inside). But the improvements in the '17 vs '19 are pretty significant. Obviously the external styling is improved with the front clip matching the rest of the family, and the wheels being a much better looking set than the '17 had. Interior-wise, the fit/finish is dramatically improved, and the leather is MUCH better than the previous model. Combine that with all the AcuraWatch features and the CarPlay capability - at a lower cost - and it's definitely a good upgrade for him. And what's hilarious to me is that you get Michelin tires on the ILX but still the questionable Goodyear tires on similar TLX models. Sigh - bean counters.
I agree the exterior styling is nicer. But I don't see major improvements in the interior. I do like the upgraded infotainment, which is a good band-aid until the FMC with the current infotainment like the RDX has.

It's mostly the seats - the leather seems improved, the style/contour seems different, and the different thread accents just adds a different feel. My son noticed a huge difference moving from the '17 to the '19 - so I'm just sharing his observations.
