Thanks for putting this together!
H&R progressive springs are top notch.. I'd recommend to anyone. Eibach and TEIN are obviously both great as well.

I would say they maybe closer to 1.4,1.5?
just a touch lower than I thought, but that being said the reason I went with this set is because of the crazy snowstorms we get here in Edmonton Alberta.
here is a crappy cell phone pic I took outside my office this morning.

Your car looks great. I'm waiting for a big paycheck and soon I'll be on the same wavelength as you guys.

Damn. You already posted here. Said this already but your ilx looks perfect. Keeping my fingers crossed you get the itch and do more!

What are you planning on picking up speed and power?

I would consider an intake an exhaust one day but for the most part I think I'm done.
I'm relatively done with this car. Ive had some heavily modified cars in the past and I don't think that's where I wanna take it with the ILX
Final mod list
Tint 35% all around
OEM Lip kit
Tein Stech Springs
CE28's
links to my old cars can be found here

Picture of mine so people can compare. Looks pretty damn close. Wonder why Tein didn't advertise that they go lower.
Drop on H&R Sport Springs.

^ it does look like yours is a touch lower
I'm pretty much comparing ground clearance of your front bumper with mine (mine has the lip kit though)
I think mine might have a touch more wheel gap as well. I'll take better pictures in the next few days as soon as it stops pissing rain here.

now that I look hard I see what your saying with the wheel gap. The H&R are advertised to drop lower but it looks so close I doubt most owners would even notice the difference. Coming from someone that will pull that jack out to go a thread or two lower on some coils, yeah I'll notice. lol
We'll have to see if mine settles any further, doubt it, and if yours will settle much.
In your opinion do you think your front lip brings the car closer to the ground? I was looking at them and they didn't look to add much bulk downward but I have yet to really study them in person. I love them from the side and in your shot, but from a head on view I think they stick out too far im my honest opinion. LOVE the sides and rear though!!! aah

also if anyone is curious about alignment specs and if they will need camber kits etc.
The front is pretty much bang on, with in spec (as close to zero camber and zero toe) with out a camber kit on a drop from tein springs.
The rear would require a camber kit to get within spec. I'm sitting at about -2 (which in all honesty is fine with me), and that's about the best we could get it too.

does anyone know anything about the skunk2 lowering springs? I found them on this site and was interested in how they would look on our cars.
http://www.proimporttuners.com/parts...Fa7m7AodkykAbA
just figured I would ask. says they are compatible for our cars.

Skunks do go a lot lower than other companies and it will probably give you the look of a coilover drop aka Slammed look but start saving for upgraded struts because yours are going to fail prematurely

how long would you say? because I have a 36 month lease and have 29 months left lol

LOL!
It really depends on the way you drive and the roads you drive on. You could put those springs on and drive on a perfectly smooth surface and have very little to no effect on the rest of the suspension.
You could drive a lot and on very bad roads while driving very aggressively and you could blow a strut/shock very rapidly less than a year even.
Ill try and put it in perspective... I had Nuespeed Race springs on my 99Ek with stock suspension (other than the springs) and within a year give or take I noticed fluid on my wheels I had blown a shock and it was leaking. This is without any track driving just aggressive street driving.
Most will say its a good idea to monitor the wear and tear of your struts and shocks... commuter car back and forth OEMs can last between 60-100K miles (though I think 100K miles is very unlikely) most people are driving with bad shocks but because they slowly wear out and progressively get worse people dont realize they are bad till its too late and they are SHOT!
With Swifts I would bet you could get what you would from OE springs with a commute only car (or pretty close). With the Skunks it will be significantly shorter (thats why in most case they offer aftermarket shocks to pair with their springs (valved and modifeid to handle the spring rate and drop of their springs) but if I were to try and guess it would be just that a guess. No one has the same driving habits and all it takes is one monster pot hole to monkey wrench the whole thing.
Its why Eibach offers Prokit and Sportlines... Prokit handles better than stock and isnt too agressive to give customers longevity on the rest of their suspension components. Sportlines drop and stiffness is more aggressive and will significantly shorten the lifespan of other components.
Hope that helped and made sense!
Good Luck!

Alright guys, as of yet I haven't seen an ILX with the Eibach Pro-kit springs set-up....so, I've decided to be the guinea pig of the group. I've just placed an order for 2013 Civic Si Pro-kit springs (4088.140), and if anyone is interested, autoanything.com has a nice offer going on right now. I got the springs for $190.36 (after a new customer 15% discount) with free shipping. On top of that, Eibach has a rebate of an extra 10% through them, bringing the total price paid to approximately $170. I'll post detailed pics with review as soon as I install them.

Wont be much of a guinea pig. Thatd be the first person that picked up the h&rs when they were only adbertised for civics. Youre will definitely dit no issues and theyll sit more like switts than mine... but you cant really tell the difference between our heights so yours will look like ours.

This site is stupid for not letting me edit my post. Enjoy my misspellings and grammar fuck ups.
