just got the 2013 ILX fully loaded premium tech package.....got crystal black pearl with ebony interior,got the rear lip spoiler and the "acura" white illuminated door sills...car is sharp,love all the latest technology,and inside of car.(pics to follow) i got the 150hp model.i am coming from a minted black on black 2008 acura TL TYPE-S.obviously i am lacking the power of my type-s but otherwise i am happy with my new ILX.just got the windows tinted and she looks really nice.eventually i will hopefully be getting back into the new TL once the body style changes hopefully in 2014.have not liked the ones from 09-now....loved my type-s to death and wish they would bring back that amazing body style.....was just time for something new....

We went to the dealership and test drove the base hybrid and were turned off by the car. We couldn't believe Acura would sell a car with the cheap interior/audio system on a standard model. Along with this I did not like how the Hybdrid drove. It was our first drive of any hybrid. Anyhow, we left the dealership disappointed and stopped looking for a car until about a month ago. So we were looking for a mid to smaller car cause the wife is very short and driving a big car is uncomfortable to her. We looked at everything Subaru, Toyotas,VW, Caddies, Honda, Nissan, Mazda. I tend to stay away from Ford , Dodge, Gm products cause I feel they are inferior products. After looking at cars and the price tags on them we went back to our Acura dealer. There they had an 09 Nfinity G37 and an 09 base TL. Test drove both and really liked the TL but could not get them to move on the price as much as we wanted them to plus it is really too big for my wife (so she says). Headed back to the Honda dealership and drove a 2 accord coupe was pretty nice. The problem is we currently have 09 TSX so the car is pretty similar. At this point I am getting a little frustrated cause she stated let just go get the Tl. So we stopped back at the Acura dealership to buy the TL and she started looking at the ILX again. We schedule a test drive for both the 2.0 and the hybrid model. First we drove the base model Hybrid and again not impressed with the interior or audio system but did accept the ride of the hybrid much better. Then we drove the 2.0 premium because there is no way I am paying for bae pckage with the crappy sound and base interior. This was a nice riding car and both of us felt it was the car to buy. Then finally test drove the Hybrid tech package and both of us really liked the difference in audio plus you get all the other bells and whistles. But still did not like the price tag they put on this car at 35.5K. Anyhow, after haggleing we bought the car. The wife is very happy with the car and actually I am too. There is just something to say about having that A symbol on the back of your car.
