I have a 2014 base ilx and was wondering about the labor cost for installation of oem fog lights on my car. How much would a dealer charge? A local mechanic? I really don't care who does them as long as they are done right, but I have no experience or knowledge to predict the cost. thanks

P.S I hope I am not repeating an already existing thread, however I am fairly new to the site and was unable to find a thread to meet my needs.

Like you, I have the Base and had the fog lights installed.

I purchased the factory dim view mirror and fog lights online. I then asked local Acura dealers for any deals...none. They were charing upwards of $450 labor for both until I found one who did it for $300.

I personally prefer Acura mechanics. All the best

 

Go to any reputable auto body shops. They all know how to install factory units like these. They do it daily with front end work.

Pick 3 local body shops. Go to least reputable and get a quote. Then go to the next best and say "How much would this cost, bla bla quoted me this." Then go to the best shop and tell them what both shops said and choose once youve got three quotes.

 

Dealer tried to charge to $50 just to replace the fog light bulbs..

Took me less than 30 minutes to do..
