I have a 2021 ILX pre-owned and certified with Acura Care, I noticed closing the hood has a hollow and rattle sound, one side sounds like a rattle between the skin and underneath. Sometimes at a stop light, I hear the rattle and I thought it was the hood holder rattling. I went to the dealer they said it's the hood rattling inside but they said to go back to the dealer I bought from.
I took it to a local body shop they saw the hood skin glue separated. The local shop re-glued but the front driver's side of the hood still has a minor rattle and there's no place to see if there's glue that separated.
It doesn't seem to be an aftermarket hood. Does anyone else experience this issue?
