Driving home tonight, as I went over some rough roads I heard a rattling sound coming from the front area. I could hear it coming from under the hood. It sounded like the hood was not shut properly, but the hood light wasn't on at all. As soon as I got home I did an inspection. I looked under my car, the wheel wells and double checked the hood and it was properly shut. Nothing seemed loose underneath. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

There have been issues with front strut mounts causing rattling.

Sounds like one of the issues that I took my car in for. The dealer has it now. I described it as a "thump" followed by a reverberating "tap, tap, tap..." When hitting bumps or rough roads with my front passenger wheel.
