Skunk2 is making one similar to the 8th gen civic which is very intriguing if it works on our cars.. Probably will be the best given the polymer tubing and 3.5"

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of skunk products and I've seen better gains with the rick spec'd intake than with the skunk2.

I may go that route because I don't want my SC to just sit around for too long

** I guess I am stuck on something like a fender located CAI or SRI because I run the risk of hydrolocking in TX but its fine ill just refuse to be the driver in floods haha

FlashPro is ordered.. Maybe I can convince Vit to do an eDyno stock, with the CAI only and then CAI+DP, and then SC.. That might help promote the ILX modding community.

Where did you even find the borla catback? I can't find it online. Try the invidia q300...it's not the greatest sound, but I found it for 509 shipped and it's straight through design (plus 70mm piping) should yield a tad bit more power.

*scratch that I just saw the wrong year one that looked like a coffee can**
.. don't like the sound enough for a bit more power honestly.. I'd go 3" if I were lookin to squeeze the extra out of it and sacrifice sound. Na mean?

You can find the Borla catback on Summit Racing's site and Borla's official site.

They all sound less than optimal.. but the Borla sounds the smoothest. I really got on a quality set of speakers and listened to the Full-Race and realized what people were saying about that metal tinning sound.. it sounds extremely bad. The exhaust sound is fine but that metal sound bothers me a lot.

Is that priced shipped? Hmmm, wondering if we can ask heel toe to get us discounted pricing on it. He said he'll work with us to get ilx parts.

I can honestly say it would only merit waiting if he did a template. Otherwise I am gonna have to figure something out with cutting my bumper and putting a tip on it so it wouldn't help me to go with HeelToe if that ends up being the case.

OOOH.. got you. I am not doing a cat back for a little bit.. just DP for now. But, I like to look around so I have a vision of where I wanna go with things. The Borla is my #1 choice.. I am gonna hold out a bit and see what feedback we get on the ATLP exhaust.

Alright, cool. When I asked about discounted pricing actually added it to his price, lol. $18 cheaper than borla's website:

Werd. Well you better go quick cause I am getting all but the catback on with the SC.

He should know to notate that the Borla exhaust would need the tip cut and turned down to fit the ILX. **or bumper modifications

I just went through RV6 I figure it might be faster and only $10 more.

Will start a build thread once either my DP or Flashpro come in.. Thinkin about ordering the Rick Spec'd CAI but I really prefer Skunk2 just not really into the idea my Stock box will collapse haha

its unfortunate that it relocates the battery to such a hard to reach area.. that's another reason I really prefer the Skunk2.. just asked them they said they're 3-4 months out before they release their intake.

Haha, I got the impression that Skunk2 wasn't overly excited about CT-E products.

skunk2 has their own supercharger so they naturally won't be too happy about you saying you have the ct one, lol

Lol! Yeah, I just said I had a supercharger on the way for a sense of urgency and then he asked which one.. And he said from his experience w/ the 8th gen the CT wont use typical intakes.. then I told him about the new inlet that works with the stock fitment and he goes "well at least they got that right" lol .. NOW it may just be assumptive on my part but it definitely seemed like he wasn't thrilled about CT haha
