Same here! I'm making the point that s/c can get you hanging with a high 12 second car.

speaking of which, here's an si with taking out a 5.0 mustang at the track. Bare in mind he's got a 3" pulley, but he's running a much longer final drive so I think it'd be the equivalent of a stage 2 s/c'd car:

The kit is going to be greater than 4,200 because it has to include new injectors and has a revise intake design which apparently this kit boosts more than previous kits ect.. I am hoping its not over 4,500 -_-

Pretty impressive.. I'd be curious about reliability at that point. You're gonna start breaking things I feel like.

There are kids with 50,000+ miles on their 8th civic stage 2 kits. A lot of the issues with the sc kits came from poor installation when torquing the bearings/bolts associated with the pullley assembly.

but, obviously it is more wear on the engine, etc. I would stick with stage 1. Plenty of power for this platform.

It's been insinuated that the 8th gen clutch is far superior to ours, and I have seen where the 8th gen guys wreck their 2nd gears and the possibility of breaking your axles if you track it.

That's how I feel.. After 250whp on FWD is a bit unusable in most situations.

That's why I'm just getting a 2.5" exhaust. I don't need the extra power up top from the 3" and it's quieter than a 3" system. Plus I think the 2.5 has a slight edge in sub 3k rpmtorque.

I flirted with the idea of getting just a 2.5 downpipe and leaving the stock exhaust.

It's sad this K24 sounds nice on the motor end but the exhaust is definitely one of its weakest points. I haven't liked any of the 2.5" exhausts the only one I have been pleased with is the Full Race but I haven't heard any in person.

I emailed HeelToe.. Trying to figure out how much I money I need to give them so I can transfer it from savings.

The Borla seems a bit raspy doesn't it? The Magnaflow probably sounds good in person, It probably has a lot more bass to it.

I just think it sounds less raspy than the other exhausts out there. The exhaust note on this car plain sucks.

I can agree.. Coming from a Cobra it's even more difficult for me.. The Cobra IMO is one of the best sounding cars ever lol

Hi folks, I just got off the phone with CT and was able to get enough details from them to post the supercharger kit up for sale:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/product.php?productid=66228

This kit's details have been added to the product online there. With the coupon code you are looking at a pretty sweet deal on this package!

Question is now.. 3.8 or 3.6? I thought the 3.6 was going to be the base kit pulley.. the 3.15 needs bigger injectors right..

I'm pretty sure 3.6 is actually going to be the base. You'll need new injectors for the 3.15...in fact, the included injectors barely keep up with the stage 1, lol.

From what I recall, he/she was running at 90-95% duty cycle at WOT...I used to run 98% on my 440cc injectors on my si, so you shouldn't have a problem, but I'm letting you know if you decide to upgrade to stage 2. Also, if you're closer to sea level, like the tester, than you'll run a higher duty cycle because there is more air and hence more fuel needed to run optimally.

Trent, I spoke with heel toe today and they told me the following:
1) the kit may take a 4-6 weeks to fulfill the order as CT Engineering has lot of pre-orders; meanwhile they said it'd start shipping end of april as they finesse the kit

2) the pricing is accurate, but the price with flashpro is $100 less than it should be; heel toe told me they'd fix it tonight. Just giving you an fyi. Even still, at 630 (before the discount), the fp / kit is a value as compared to what they sell the kit for the 8th gen civic.

Thank YOU.. Speed, you're my favorite person on forums. <3

This HeelToe price is unbeatable.. Slaughters the competition in price. I hope you guys continue to support the ILX platform as I will let you take my money!

Are you pulling the trigger Speed?

Lol, I'm not withholding anything...I actually can't afford the s/c atm. So I figure I'd do the supporting bolt-ons first.

No, sorry I meant what about the exhaust? They plan on making one for the ILX? SHARE

If they will handle 3" exhaust, intake, S/C @ 3.6" I am good.
