Hey guys,


I am new to the ILX family, so bear with me please!


I was wondering if it is possible to switch the front interior LED dome lights. They seem to be too yellowish compared to the LED dome lights found in the aftermarket.

Anyone have any pointers?

yes the dome lights can be switched to leds ne light on your car can be switched to leds

 

^ they are already LED lights from the factory so there is no "bulb" to change.

Last I remember looking in there, I think they are soldered in.

 

i havent checked the map lights but the dome light in the back is not n led bulb it can be changed for sure ill check the map lights n let u kno

 

To my knowledge and ive tried you cant change the front dome lights without some custom work. They are special bulbs... never seen them done like this before

 

You guys are right: The LEDs seem to be set. Oh well

 

Sumo, were you able to take off the map light/homelink unit? I found 2 x 8mm hex bolts to remove, but don't know what else to take off. I've tried pulling on the whole thing, but I'm afraid of breaking something.
