Does the TSB 16-015 only apply if the tuner presets display random characters for a long time? I've noticed my presets display random characters for a second or two on boot up. I'm assuming that's normal.

 

When that happens I usually tap the power button then turn it back on. Problem fixed in less that two seconds.

If yours stays on the whole time I'd have the dealer check it out. If it corrects it's self don't bother with it.

A TSB gets released then all of a sudden EVERYONE's radio is having problems. Just enjoy the darn car. Sheesh.

 

It's a self diagnostic every time the radio turns on,
