Hi all. I bought my ILX from a certified preowned lot a year ago. Been busy working, moving, and maintaining other cars since. I’ve been going in for the oil changes. Finally got a chance to pop the hood and just take a look around. It was actually 1:30am. We were adjusting my daughters new headlight assembly on her Mazda’s 3S. Using my car as example for height and line. I realized I had 4 empty threaded bolt holes around the dipstick. There’s no port for water, air, or exhaust. I was wondering if anyone here happened to know what they could possibly be used for. There’s gotta be a method to the madness eh? Lol I’ll attach a picture I took this morning. Top (3rd) hole is blocked in picture by oil dip stick. Oh looking now, there are a 4th hole. Scratching my head.
