2.0 Pop
2.0 Pop
Soo guys...
As mentioned some time ago, i've got the 2.0 and quite happy, of course. Though, i was interested in increasing some "pop." Can anyone recommend a few ways to increase HP/torque? I know the 2.4 offers many alternative, but I'm not too sure about the 2.0

Honestly I would check out USDMJon's build thread, he has the 2.0. I think he threw on a short ram air intake, down pipe, and had plans/or did throw on an axle back exhaust. I think you should just PM him for a parts list. Personally I like to play it safe and I'll usually go with something people know works.
From what aomech said. I'm throwing r18 parts at my car.
Our r20 is basically just a larger r18 found in the civics.
Go fast parts you want to find for the r18 specifics... or civic lx or nonsi works.
This goes as far back at 2006 I beleive but I've been throwing parts from the 2012+ models which tend to cost more than 2005 parts but should still be the same since the civic bay didn't change any.
Bracing will work from any civic including si. Other suspension work is is a throw up. I'm pretty sure any si coil over will work on a non si and our ilx but I'm not 100% sure.
Here is my advice. .. If you take my route... small inexpensive mods ($200+ a piece) you won't see much power gain. This will be true on any aura you pick up and most any car out there. Intake and exhaust will free up power but nothing really too noticable.
I do it because I like to. I enjoy swapping parts out for a small power margin. I hardly feel it if at all but I like knowing I've done it.
In the future the more of these parts that come together the more the influence how much power you make. But with just an intake you won't see much.
All these however added to the turbo Aaron mentioned will mean much bigger numbers than just the turbo alone.
Turbo is definitely in my future. That will show much more power than the bolt ons I'm doing. But if you do go turbo, it would benefit from the additional bolt ons greatly.
