Hi, i did some quick googling but I need a 12v power line to connect to my audio convertor in my trunk for my sub. I see there are a bunch of fuses in under the drover footwell with ratings from 7.5 to 20 amp but when i googled what 20 amps is its like 1200 v? which cant be correct.... what fuse would i need to tap for 12v when the car is only running. i can check myself with a test light but i just need to know what type of fuse is for 12v can i tap into the 10 amp fuse?

I was told battery but the wire i have i don't trust it as it may melt in the summertime.
