Why do people buy Motorola HD DVRs on eBay?
What's the advantage to owning one of these boxes? I didn't think it was possible to turn an HD box into a box. If it is, please provide a link, as I'm interested.

i guess they use it as a cheap HD decoder for off the air stuff? iono
