What do you think of this HT set up?

I'm helping a buddy of mine put a home theater system together. Any thoughts or experiences with any of this stuff?

TV - Samsung HPS5053 50'' Plasma - $3,000

Receiver - Denon AVR 2807 - $1100

F/R speakers - Speakercraft MT Three 6.5" in wall - $525/pair

Center speaker - Martin Logan Vignette - $650

Sub - Martin Logan Dynamo 10" - $600

Also need an RF remote.

Any advice would be great, this stuff is a little out of my price range so I'm not too familiar with it.

I think you need an XBOX 360 somewhere in there

My only comments are that I have never heard of Martin Logan, and try to never mix brands of speakers. If you buy all the same series of speakers the tweeters/midrange will all be sonically matched. For the price of that sub, consider SVS.

Thats the first thing I said too. He said he wants to wait for ps3, but I bet he will change his mind when he plays fight night at my house this week.

I'm not a fan of mixing speakers either, but I'm having a hard time matching some in wall speakers with a center channel. I will keep looking though.

I recommended SVS to him just now, thanks

speakers look like form-over-function

I'd suggest some slim-profile towers and center (course just my opinion)

These are the speakers I have:

you can mount the center on the wall, and the towers dont look half-bad on teh ground
