In wall speakers
I've read a bunch of reviews online but I still don't know what I want. If I can get away with in-wall fronts and rears, I would like to do that. I already have a nice JBL Center and Klipsch Sub. The room is wired for surrounds. Mostly, it will be used for movies and/or TV. I'm not allowed to play loud music much.
I'm looking to spend < $1000 for all 4 speakers if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I plan to mount them into the vaulted ceilings pointed toward the couch. The wire is in the attic but there are no holes... yet.

Pics of said room?
There are tons of companies that make in walls (you really should be getting in ceiling designated speakers tho), and tons of configurations.
My advice is to 1) find something you like the sound of and 2) use a back box, esp in a ceiling where it's a huge unlimited air space!
A few companies you might check out are Def Tech (one of the few companies with in wall bipoles), Speakercraft, and B&W (again with the bipole stuff). I suggest having a matching center tho, so you might want to check out JBL also or get a new center channel.

I've got Paradigm in-walls for my center and 4 surrounding speakers (my front LR are bookshelves) and I love them. I can't recall exactly b/c I bought a bunch of speakers at the same time but they were about 600-700/pair
