Tivo with DirecTV

So I just moved and am stuck using Primecast which is a shitty company that locks in buildings and makes them use their service. Basically, it is DirecTV (have a box that even says DirecTV) but under the name Primecast.

I wanted a Type M card to stick in my Tivo Premier but they don't offer that seeing how it is not cable. They say I have to use their DVR but I have a lifetime service with Tivo and the box so obviously I would like to use mine.

Anyway to do this? The signal comes in what appears to be an ethernet cable which is converted to a USB input for the box via an inline converter.

Any ideas? I would buy a new Tivo if needed just don't want to pay primecast on principle (I was in one of two buildings in WPB that had Primecast and the buildling was trying to get out of the contract, just like this community is in VA where I now live).

Tivo no work with DirectTV, sorry.
The folks on the Facebook Tivo fan page have been crying for a new DirectTivo for ages.

Damn, that sucks. I read a series 2 will work but it only records one show or something like that and you loose HD which makes it pretty pointless. I liked having pandora and such through the Tivo. Guess I should have spend the $50 more and bought the samsung TV with the apps instead of the current sammy I have

DirecTV Tivo is vaporware.

Many have claimed it will return....but I don't think we will ever see Tivo again with DTV.

You can just buy any one of the MANY bluray players that have some or all of the internet apps the TV would have had.
