Stupid speaker question

Can I measure the impedence of a speaker just by hooking a multimeter to it? I'm curious if my Bose speaker cubes are 6-ohm or 8-ohm and I can't seem to find the answer using Google.

Thanks phipark. I actually found an article that gave some measurements. They're roughly 6-ohm.
