I think the wire I used was 14-20 guage, I forgot which one since I wired the house during construction. Your best bet would be around 16 in my opinion, not to thick and it can still carry the wattage from the 805.

Oh okay...that's what I was worried about, primarily, the power output

I want to make sure there's no clipping and all the power is delievered to the speakers I think its something like 130 RMS...

I took out a wire and guesstimate its 16 or 18 guage, I have 140 Watts at 12 channels...

for those wondering

7.1 MAIN ROOM
2 channels zone 2
2 channels zone 3

I use speaker wire from blue jeans cable and it's great cable just not very flexible. I also might have gotten it a tad thick, 12g.

I used 12awg monoprice wire for my entire 7.1 surround setup and used definitive technology speakers, as well as zone 2 and zone 3 hooked up to BIC America speakers.... Depending on the distance needed to run from the receiver to the speaker, 12-14 awg would be perfectly fine...
