Selling DVDs

According to delicious library I had about 250 movies. I just sold about 100 of them.

I have a couple collector discs that are worth some coin on amazon, collectors, but they arent movies I want to get rid of right now.

I got OK money for them, but wow when you realize what you initially spent...ouch.

All in the name of needing more storage space for other things...

When I was in the AF I use to buy movies on VHS like crazy. Had to, because being overseas was the only way to see the movie. When DVD's came out, I was like shit, all this money in VHS and now this. I was very careful to not go crazy after seeing the amount of VHS tapes I practically gave away.

I still haven't gone to BluRay, almost had HDDVD but sent it back before I opened it.

I lived overseas for 6 years as an army brat. That was 83-89 So it was right when VHS and beta came into play...as soon as VCRs became big we would rent the vhs and record everything to beta. we had HUNDREDS of movies.

Big record/music store in LA called Ameoba. I was going to just go to game stop for trade credit, but this place tends to give a little more.

I didnt want to deal with half.com or amazon or anything and fuck around with individual sales. I just wanted the space and them all gone.
