hey i was wondering how are the samsumg plasma tvs? im just wondering before my dad mounts the plasma to the wall how do samsung plasma's compare to others? we got it on sale for $2100, regular price was $3000 for a 42" at sears yesterday.

 

Samsung plasmas are very good. Do you have a specific model of the unit you bought?

 

I have a Sammy plasma in our bedroom and I love it. I'm a big fan of Samsung all-around (I also have a Sammy DLP), so I would recommended them for most of their TVs anyway. Obviously there are better plasmas out there... but you'll spend more money for them as well... so for the price, I don't think you can go wrong.

Model I got is HPR4252. I'm guessing yours is the same model since that's the one that all of the stores seem to be putting on sale lately....
