Got it from amazon and the goldbox trick. All I can say is WOW. Any one else on here with one...and any tips/pointers for me?

 

Is this one of the new ones with the thinner clear over black bezel?

 

Touch of color...technically has some red in it , visable on the outer edge. I'm going to buy the 46in in the next week or so.

It's a way to "manipulate" your recommendations to get items you want in your "gold box." Basically, anything in your goldbox gets you an additional 5% off. So I ended up getting my 52a650 for around 2350 shipped no tax :-D

so what did you add to your recomendations in order to get the offer for the tv? I've seen examples like if you want and xbox360, say you bought the controler...etc. But the tv doesn't really have any accessories.

 

I'd get the 750 over the 650 as there very close in price. The 750 has a few goodies the 650 doesn't, but to me I prefer the square bezel on the 750 over the rounded bezel on the 650. I still hate the TOC as red is the only available color at the moment. I don't need a TV till football season and I'm hoping a black TOC will be out by then.

 

I wouldn't bet on a black TOC...black wouldn't add a 'touch of color'

 

LOL...black TOC classic. At any rate, I did read somewhere that they're going to start bringing out different colors.

And on another note, the price for the 52a650 plummeted. I bought mine less than 30 days ago from Amazon. What's their return policy?

I ordered the ln46a650 on friday when it was 1977. On sunday it had dropped to 1919.xx, so I emailed them about it and got a refund for the difference.
