52" 650's and 750's are about $2499-2599 up here, not cheap. Waiting for prices to come down and for the room its going in to be ready. Since its only $100 I'll likely get the 750 unless I find a great deal on a 650.

$1999 + exchange + shipping (not free to Canada) + brokerage I'm at 3k.

Newegg.ca doesn't carry Samsung. In fact their selection is terrible,

Samsung built the 630 as a tweener model especially for discount or outlet stores. It's more like the 550 than the 650. It also has only 3 HDMI ports, where the 650 has 4.

I should have put only in red.

Amazon won't ship the 650 to you for our price?

My brother got his 46' 750 for 1799 and my friends dad got his 52' 750 for 2099.

newegg.ca has so far been a lame execution here.

From your contact at FS? Its $2599 on sale this week.

On another note I've been checking BB regularly this week and they no longer list the 650. Only 630 and 860.

might have been 2199, can't remember for sure, but either way it was a very attractive price.

I'll have to pay for shipping. And with the CAD dollar at 0.80 cents, it isn't worth it.

Wish I could give you a technical answer that would help you out but....I'm not picky, once I knew I wanted a Sammy (Love my Sammy DLP) either of the 630, 650 or 750 was fine with me, they're all more than good enough to my eyes. Came down to the store I bought it at and the price. The 750 is carried exclusively by Future Shop up here (Owned by BB)

The lowest the salesman would go on a 630 was $1959 (Reg $2399). I got the 750 for $2117 (Reg $2599). I figured the extra $160 was worth it. They didn't carry the 650 so it wasn't an option.

Naw, that helps. The different between the 650 and 750 are more gimmics than anything, IMHO.

From Amazon:

Internal flash memory (1GB) with pre-loaded interactive content such as cooking recipes, children's entertainment, HD artwork and more

No other differences that I can find. The 750 is about $140 more than 650 at amazon.

I always wanted the 750 over the 650 mainly because of the internal memory and the built in subwoofer. I live in an apt where I can't get a sound system so a good built in one was important for me. I also like the pictures playing in the background when I have company over, the quality is breath taking. I haven't tried to hook up an Ethernet cable yet, but will try it out soon.

750 has a built in sub and the infamous halo effect!

Can't the 650 play pics as well?

I can't really comment on the woofer in the 750 but it seems like the only addition of any substance. I'd pocket the $140 and get the 650.

I'm pretty sure that halo effect your are talking about around the frame/bezel was addressed in 750. I'm not positive of the date, but I heard 750's made after 'X' date won't have that problem.

From the avs forums.

Differences between the LNxxA650 and LNxxA750:

* 750 has an integrated woofer
* 16-bit processor vs. 12-bit in 650 (10-bit panel in both)
* 750 has DLNA features (can stream audio/video/etc. over a home network)
* 750 can play video off of DLNA/USB flash drive. 650 limited to images/audio
* 750 comes with 1GB internal flash memory pre-loaded with HD pictures, games, recipes, and a few other things
* 750's controls on the bezel have a red backlight. 650's controls have no backlight
* 750 has a square bezel compared to the 650's rounded bezel
* 750 has a square stand compared to the 650's oval stand
* 750 stand does not swivel (contrary to Samsung's literature)

Any of you have or heard of a problem where the picture settings are reverting back to default after about 30 minutes?

I've never heard the integrated woofer on the 750, but I can tell you that the TV speakers on the 650 are God Awful.

I am quite sure the halo effect was taken care of in both 650 and 750 after a certain date. I remember reading about it somewhere
