?'s about 8th. gen new Pioneer plasmas

Has anyone found any actual reviews (CES, etc.) about these new plasmas? Pioneer is supposed to start shipping the 720(768) models now in June and the 1080p ones in July.
I was trying to decide between the currently available PRO1140HD and PDP1070HD (both 768's) when I saw the newer versions, the PRO1150HD and PDP1080HD were about to become available. I'd be willing to wait and spend an arm and a leg now if they're going to deliver what they claim.
The on-line sites seem to be taking pre-orders but it does't look like they are ready to ship yet. They make lots of PR claims but no actual reviews, such as on CNET or such. Of course new technology may bring new bugs that take awhile to find and sort out but I think it might be worth a try.
Pioneer's site is cagy about the new models and just taking requests for e-mail alerts as they count down the days till official release.
Let me say my other choices were (1080p)LCD's, Sammy LN-T4661F and Sony's 46" Bravia( V and XBR series) but I really wanted to go up to 50" and no one was displaying the LN-T5265F. I thought the Sammy edged out the Sony, but the PRO1140HD was even better still. All that was with how the store set-up the sets but the (768)Plasma just seemed more pleasing to my eyes.
I don't want to start another plasma vs. LCD debate, I just hope to find some info on the new plasmas. I've been fine until now with my SD 32" Sony CRT. I always found something I didn't like about the HD sets( plasma, lcd, dlp and rear-projection lcd) until the newest LCD's and plasma's that have been coming to market in 2006 and 2007.

As of right now, the only 8th generation Pioneer plasmas available are the 4280 and 5080. For what I've been hearing, the 5080s blow away the 5070s, and the price is much less than what people were expecting.

As for LCDs, I really like the 65 series Samsungs. I like them better than the 5070 Pioneer plasma, but I have a feeling I'll like the 5080 better than the 65 series Samsungs.
