Power Cleaners/bars?

Well I just bought a sammy 750 LCD and have been thinking about protecting it with a good surge protector/power bar/power cleaner thing. What's your guys take on these? I get them for store cost which is pretty hilarious so I'm just wondering what's the best way to go? Here's what I can choose from

Wow! Those are so expensive.

I will get this one with extra spaces for the AC adapters.

don't need space for adapters, it's for home ent equip. My cost is about 50% of that, then after you get over about 300 it's like 75% less.

It doesn't matter which one you get, they'll all do the job - the Monster products are over-rated - stay away from it. When I purchased my TV I got a cheap one for $60, can't remember the name but it has $50,000 protection warranty on it and my tv, ps3, wii, dvd player, surround sound is plugged into it and no problems

I suggest you get one that has minimum $10,000 protection warranty.

I think those power cleaners are snake oil. I bought a decent UPS and I have my A/V stuff connected to that.

I have my Samsung 650 plugged into an in wall surge protected receptacle/outlet which Leviton makes - had to special order it from a local electrical supply place since Home Depot/Lowes doesn't carry it. Basically just looks like a GCFI outlet.
