im in the market for a portable gps for my car. could anyone recommend one for me? i want one thats easy to use

 

Just picked up a Garmin nuvi 200 for 250 from BB. You can get it for 230/shipped online. I like it alot....

 

Garmin NUVI are indeed the best, but not the cheapest. I love my 370.

 

I have the 660, definately one of the best I've ever owned!

 

Only one I've used is the one from Avis. It was a Garmin and I thought it was great. I will probably get one if my next car doesn't have navi.

 

I got a Garmin Nuvi also. Easiest to use and great software updates at their website.

 

I've read that the 300 series Nuvi uses a much better, and more sensitive, satellite receiver than the 200 series. I've been keeping my eye on Nuvi 350 prices, just waiting for it to drop to where I can pick one up. Maybe Christmas time.

 

I have VZ Navigator on my phone

Haven't used it too much, but it did come in handy a few times. Only had it since late August.
