Do you guys know anything about the quality of LG?

Im thinking about picking this up on my way home from work today, is this a good deal?

I know someone with that display. It has a decent image.
The bezel around the display is high gloss black that causes distracting reflections and glare.
One unit had to go back because it was freezing. The BestBuy service contract covered it.

I have a 42" LG Plasma, (42PC3D) and it's picture is better then just about everything I have seen in my field except the Pioneer. Too tell you the truth, it's not that big of a difference with the Pioneer even with HD content, SD content the Pioneer blows it away though. I ran the THX optimization feature on one of the Star Wars DVD's. I suggest running this or a more in depth calibration disc with any tv you get.

We got this one a couple of months ago. No complaints.

Reviews/Ratings look OK. Anybody with personal experience? Good TV?

It's our first HD quality Flatscreen, so I am sure it'll be a step up.

TIA.
