Recently my TV started humming pretty loudly and the colors when wacko. I called up samsung and they sent out a tech for me. He told me that it was probably the color wheel vibrating, but when he pulled it out, I was amazed, about 30% of the color wheel shattered inside the housing. There was only a red, blue and green section left whole, and half a a red section with half a green section. The rest was in little bits all around the housing. Cost to warranty, 400 dollars, 116 for the wheel and the rest in labor. The TV is about 3 years old and has about 4000 hours of use on it.
