Thinking about attending this year. Anyone heading out?

 

I went 2 years ago ... just came back from California last week. I'm not "allowed" to take another vacation from the boss (ie GF) until March.

It's a great time to visit Vegas (well, any time is a good time for Vegas). Enjoy if you do decide.

 

I won't be attending, but if anyone needs a pass I can probably arrange to get one for you. For audio the RMAF(Rocky Mountain Audio Fest) is a much better show for the consumer then CES, though there is a certain cool feeling to CES, its the all the latest toys. It also runs the same time as the pr0n convention in vegas

 

I wish i was going.

 

I'll be there all week, as usual.

 

I've always wanted to go... and NOT Just for the porn convention... but I'm such a gadget freak... you'd think I'd be there every year...

 

I've gone the last few years, I always find it disappointing. If you generally follow the new tech stuff even somewhat closely there is nothing really mind blowing at the show. After two days last year I didn't feel like I saw anything I wouldn't have seen by walking through Best Buy and a high end home theater shop.

The cars are pretty cool though, and if you want to go to Vegas anyway, its definitely a great time to be there.
