Running Scared
the movie itself was okay... but it's got awesome DTS-ES 6.1 surround sound bullets sounded like they were flyin' through the room... my roommate was out for the night, so I just turned it up... in some scenes, I had to turn it down, cause I didn't want my neighbors to think they were actual gun shots

my dad always showed off our system using the james bond movie tomorrow never dies, the intro where they are shooting the cruise missile and then he flies the jet at that blackmarket area in russia.
he also had the DTS version CD of the eagles hell freezes over
ohh and DTS > DD, sux thou they changed their logo in theaters doesnt show off what DTS is known for anymore

The Robot THX trailer is always a must when I demo and is a definite crowd pleaser. My demos also include...
Gone in 60 Seconds - Eleanor scene
On any Superbit Movie - DTS Trailer "Awesome"
Pearl Harbor - Coward attack scene
Underworld - Whip scene in the water
Matrix - Lobby scene
Ice Age - Glacier scene
Super Speedway - Road Course scene "If you haven’t seen this...check it out"
The Italian Job - Escape scene through the sewer system
Gladiator - 6.1 ES version - Final Coliseum Battle

Same with Days of Thunder. I love both the movies...but I wouldn't use them as show offs.

The regular version of Top Gun is garbage. However, the Special Edition 6.1 ES Version is . I picked this up because I am running 7.1, so 6.1 ES is the closest I get to fulfill my hardware capabilities. I am glad I did, because they did a fantastic job with this soundtrack. Makes the movie a joy to watch, just like it was when I saw it at the IMAX.
(btw, I'm running 7.1 too )

I am PROUD to admit that I bought Finding Nemo. It is not just a good movie IMHO. It is a great movie.
I use my DTS demo disc that contains scenes from various movies to show off the systems I install. The one that I use most of the time is the Blue Room scene in Hero with Jet Li. Sounds incredible. The disc also contains the Master and Commander scene that was mentioned already with the two ships. That is another great scene. I also use the pod racer scene from Star Wars - The Phantom Menace. There are a lot of great scenes in a variety of different movies.

^^^ one of the scenes where you hear Jean Grey's whispering was awesome... it went around the room from one speaker to another, I could've swore she was in the room... it actually made me turn my head and look... kinda creeped me out... (7.1 )
