I'm back in my parents house after graduating and I decided to paint my room because the whole basement is a dull white. I tape off the molding really good and start painting. I use the paint tarps to cover the carpet that my parents gave me. Well two of the sheets were really thin and I guess the blue paint bled through the sheets onto the carpet. This happened yesterday so the paint is dry.

I've tried goo gone on the carpet and scrubbing it and it worked a little but you can def. see the paint still. My parents have a carpet cleaner which I'm going to try tonight, but I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this happening and what you did. Thanks!

 

If you let it dry, you're pretty much screwed.
