So my daughter wanted a bed

So I built her this....

Can't take credit for the painting (my sister-in-law is an artist) but I did all the construction (a little help from my Dad). It has a large storage area up top that originally was going to be a loft for her but we decided to make the unit taller so she didnt bump her head every time she got up.

A little girl deserves to grow up like a princess, and have a room just like this. She is truly grateful, and will always have this as a memory growing up.

Great job!

Is it wrong to say "thats a killer bed."

Seriously, thats awesome...it was said above, she'll never forget that bed and im betting none of her friend's dads have built her anything as cool.

Pretty much all made of 3/4" mdf. Takes a great coat of paint. I may redo the base and make pull-out drawers under the bed.
