Single-Cup Coffee Machines...
I know of Nespresso, Keurig, Tassimo and now Nestle's Dolce Gusto line. But, that's about it.
I've had good luck buying K cups from https://www.coffeeforless.com/
They discount a little and will ship for free if you order over $50.
They occasionally send out a 10% coupon code via email. The last one expired on 8/10. I'll try to remember to post up the next code when I get it.
They are located in Philly so I get my order in a day or two.

I just recently got the Keurig Special Edition brewer for my bday and with registering it online i got 2 free boxes of kcups with the purchase of 2 plus free shipping. I'm set for a couple months! I love this thing.
Reuse your old k cups and fill with your own grounds?

I did that a while back. Very good deal.

I was given a Keurig Platinum Special Edition (something rather) as a Christmas gift this year.
I find the the convenience nice, but the coffee can be rather weak, unless you brew a dark roast or french/italian roast.
The cost for the cups is ridiculous.
I can get crazy premium whole bean coffee for a fraction of a price and brew it in my "regular" machine.
Convenience is nice for "decent" coffee, but the per cup price point is outlandish.
I dunno what to do with this machine.

I agree with your comment about weak coffee. I only buy the dark/bold stuff because of that.
Since I'm too lazy to grind my own coffee, and only usually need 1 cup a day out of it, I like it. If I ground my own stuff like you do I would share your opinion.

^^ Why make more coffee than you drink?
I usually down 2 cups in the morning....no more...no less....not much waste going on here
Jamaican Blue Mountain?!?!?!?!
...yea....I don't think that comes in a K-cup.
However, it is as good as they say....trust me.
I'll give the Kona blend a shot.

I buy them for my office from www.coffeecow.com. I usually buy a lot at a time, so I get free shipping. Price isn't bad. I don't think you'll see huge price differences in looking around. Amazon usually has decent prices for the K-Cups too. Last place would be Costco/BJ's, which is also close to the pricing from the other 2 mentioned Those would be my suggestions.
You can even get an adapter with built in filter and brew your own ground coffee if you want to save. I even use it for tea. The system works great. K-Cups are not necessary to use the machine.

If you don't enjoy using the K-Cups, get the adapter and use your own ground coffee...
That being said, my Keurig was nice until it decided to croak. Loving my Nespresso machine still.
We have a Kuerig B200 in my office, and buy the cups in bulk from Green Mountain Coffee in VT. The B200 is nice because it has an external pump and draws directly from a 5 gallon jug below it. However, to get a decent coffee of the volume that I usually drink (3 cups as marked in a coffee pot) I have to use 3 cups and use the half cup setting. Certainly not worth it cost wise to me. And I usually brew coffee for two of us in the morning, so its not much of a hassle to just use my regular coffee maker that I think I paid $25 for
I can't make a full size cup strong enough with the adapter. I think i'm going to try the hamilton beach scoop as it appears to offer greater flexibility.just put in your own ground coffee into the filter, fill up the cup you're going to drink out of with water and dump it into the reservoir and turn it on.
So it turns out Sept. 16, 2012 is the date for the Keurig patent expiration.
So, chances are strong there will be a price drop sometime after that date. Coffee makers will be able to produce K-cups without paying a royality fee to Keurig/Green Mountain.
So maybe there might be some value to this machine that makes quick not so strong coffee after all?
Stay tuned.

Kraft, BSH Home Appliances Agree To Recall Tassimo Brewers, T Discs
Kraft Foods Inc. (KFT) and BSH Home Appliances Corp. agreed to voluntarily recall about 1.7 million Tassimo single-cup coffee makers and 4 million Tassimo espresso discs in the U.S. and Canada due to burn hazards, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada said.
The Kraft-manufactured plastic espresso disc, or T Discs, that hold the coffee or tea can burst and spray hot liquid and coffee grounds or tea leaves onto consumers using the brewer and onto bystanders, posing a burn hazard, the agencies said.
There have been 140 reports of incidents with the BSH Home Appliance brewers spraying hot liquid, coffee grounds or tea leaves onto consumers, including 37 reports of second-degree burns. One incident involved a 10-year-old girl from Minnesota who received second-degree burns to her face and neck and had to be hospitalized. BSH Home Appliances is owned by BSH Bosch and Siemens AG (SI).
Related to the T Discs, there also have been 21 reports of incidents of hot liquid or coffee grounds spraying onto consumers and bystanders, including four reports of second-degree burns. One injury involved 2-year-old girl from Canada who received second-degree burns to her face.
BSH Home Appliances agreed to recall about 835,000 brewers in the U.S. and another 900,000 in Canada. This recall involves Tassimo brewers with the Bosch brand name, as well as Tassimo Professional brewers. Kraft agreed to recall 2.1 million T Disc packages in the U.S. and 1.9 million in Canada. This recall involves Gevalia, Maxwell House and Nabob brand espresso T Discs.

I'm guessing Keurig just gained a bunch of customers.

He makes coffee now too?!?!?
