I actually expected it to cost more than $4300.

Rich people? It's only $4.3k; if you were building a house, that's nothing. That's also a lot less than a marble shower with separate tub/spa.

That said, I like it. That it's so reasonably priced makes it even better.

Looks similar to mine, which didn't cost near as much

Way too complicated and you can't pee in it.

On a side note, something funny I saw at the very bottom it says "$4299 Free Shipping"

but if you highlight around it you see "$4299 Free Shipping4$$44444 444 " FAIL

You can't take a normal shower in this thing? It has to have a drain; it has to drain at some point.

Check out some of the Kohler stuff. They have some great shower towers. They have a awesome showroom that you can tour and see working models. (if any one is ever in the Kohler area in wi)

^ Kohler has great washroom stuff (sinks, faucets, etc.). Heck, even their toilets are kick@$$...

Its neat but IMO its a little too gaudy. I'd want it to flow a little more.... and sure it does everything, but I spend enough time in the shower as it is. Next thing you know they'll start having showers with TVs in them.

This is also from Kohler.... the lights change color, and that control interface can control music, automated light setups and changes, and control the temperature and shower heads,

still I think something simple yet pimp looking like this would work for me

4300 is pennies. For shits and giggles I was pricing out a top of the line Kohler setup, and just the faucets, pumps, distribution boxes, control systems, were bringing the price close to 30K, never mind the material for the actual shower.

some of the shower towers are very expensive. I was/am looking at one of the 10 jet body spas or the Waterhaven. They are 5700-7500 with out the rest of the stuff. There is another 10k in stuff needed to complete the system But MAN ARE THEY

Comparing the Aquatech to the Kohlers is like comparing a TSX modded and LED'd to the gills with a BMW 7 Series.

Totally different classes of showers.

its insane what they charge for bathroom fixtures. My mother built a master bath in her house 2 years ago, she went to a high end place that was having a year end sale of all their display models and ended up getting about $5000-6000 worth or stuff for her sink, jacuzzi tub, and a shower with about 20 different shower heads and spray nozzles for $700 all brand new stuff that was only mounted for display

That's awesome! I'm closing on my house in about 3 weeks and I've gotta re do the master shower due to some water damage. I may have to look into this.
