Remote Light Switch

Anyone know of any decent remote light switches?

Situation: I have an existing switch that controls an outlet. The outlet is where I plug my home theater, so I disconnected the switch. I want to use the switch (or at least switch location) to control an outlet on another wall so I can plug in a lamp. I'd prefer to have the remote outlet mount like a standard outlet, rather than a "plug-in" type that I found by x10.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions on this?

You will have to rewire to the outlet that you want switched

It's a condo, so that isn't going to happen. I might just go and get the x10 stuff. The problem with that is their switch just literally sticks to the wall.

Sadly enough, we tried that for the fun of it. The thing sucks. It's either too sensitive or won't work.

Just get one of these. $15 at Radio Shack

Plug the switch into an outlet. Plug the lamp into the switch.

Wiremold makes a ton of stuff so you can rewire things externally and it still looks clean. I used it in my apt.
